I made a Japanese omelette today for the first time in a while. It didn't turn out exactly right, but it had cilantro-parsley pesto in it and no dashi so it wasn't going to be authentic anyway 😅 #cooking

Have you checked out the Tree Ring Tee by @daniknitsthings yet?? (check her profile for the link!) I test knit the pattern for her, and although it's her first design, it's straightforward and easy to follow. It would be a great first sweater that won't bore you! Also, it uses way less yarn than you'd think - under two skeins for me, though I did 3/4 sleeves - and it's fun to mix and match from your stash!
